Breakfast starts at 8:30am with a little networking, followed by an intimate and personal talk from a selected Creative from this city.
Guestspeaker this month is Gözde Eyce, aka @themoodysociety
February’s global theme is LAYERS. It was chosen by the Lausanne chapter in Switzerland @cm_lausanne
and illustrated by Catherine Olivia Pearson @coliviapearson
Simplicity provides clarity, but layers give our work a richer complexity and depth. Just like a collage is created by overlapping layers of found materials, we pile up experiences that form our beliefs and reactions.
People have layers too. It is the layers that give life meaning. We must peel them away to discover our deeper truths.
Gözde is a talented Visual Artist and Yogui, and a longtime member of our beloved Rotterdam CM community.
Gözde is a visual artist specializing in editorial and picturebook illustrations, as well as kids' and yoga apparel designs. She creates vibrant, imperfect worlds that resonate with people.
Passionate about sustainability, social equity, and diversity, she prioritizes projects that promote these values. Gözde has worked on over 60 book projects internationally and launched her first Domestika course on creating fun, versatile illustrations.
In addition to client work, she is developing her own books and finds creative inspiration in teaching yoga, piano sounds, and the sky.
