Join us for another creative breakfast!
Breakfast starts at 8:30am with a little networking, followed by an intimate and personal talk from a selected Creative from this city.

Pattern recognition, formation, and breaking down are essential components of creativity. Images, sounds, movements and passage of time form patterns that make up our existence and our work.
The selection of this theme by our Chennai chapter was inspired by the kōlam art form; these dot patterns are surrounded or connected by straight and curved lines. These intricate geometric designs are created on the thresholds and floors of homes, temples and businesses using rice flour. This practice is deeply rooted in South Indian culture in order to welcome guests home and attract good fortune and prosperity.
Our Chennai chapter, traditionally created by women, shared that these beautiful designs are usually created by family members and neighbours as a community activity. Connections between people also form patterns in our lives.

This month's speaker is
Jake Catterall. Jake is a Creative & Art director with 10+ years in the advertising industry. Working on big accounts such as Adidas, Google, Fanta, Johnny Walker and Samsung. Jake lives a double life as a semi-professional athlete specialising in ultra distance events. Jake found this passion through the advertising world and harnessed all the skills from the ad industry to make sports a success.
Recently running the entire length of Europe (5600km) from Norway to Spain, Jake has a natural ability to inspire people to go after their passions no matter how big the dreams are.
You might have a quarter life crisis or leave with a big fire in your heart. Both actually being a good take away.
