Join us for another creative breakfast!
Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM with a little networking, followed by an intimate and personal talk from a selected creative from this city.
This month it's Ishmail Kamara.
Our theme for March is Local, It was chosen by the Creative Mornings
Santos chapter in Brazil and illustrated by
Simone Matias.
What it means to the Chapter:
“We are proud to be from Santos. The feeling of loving the city but sometimes feeling limited by it—that is Local. It’s community, identity, and roots.”
About the speaker
Ishmail Kamara is an author, poet, writer, storyteller, actor, book lover, and community developer. Born in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Ishmail believes that storytelling is one of the bridges that connect people from different backgrounds. And also the source of finding solutions to settle our differences. He speaks Temne, Krio, English, and Dutch.
His passion is developing people and communities through education and culture. He loves sportsmanship, respect, and equal opportunity for all.
He describes himself as not a workaholic and he brings positivity to his work environment and puts smiles on his colleagues' faces. He loves cooking, reading, and playing soccer. But most of all, performing on stage.
