Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM with a little networking, followed by an intimate and personal talk from a selected creative from this city. This month it's Justin Poels.

The world feels hard in so many ways. Couldn’t we all use more softness?
Soft is gentle, empathic, and vulnerable. But being soft is not a weakness. It is a sign of deeper strength. Having the courage to walk through life without armor. A willingness to listen before speaking. Welcoming whatever comes with open palms. Pulling someone close for a hug.
What if our work was softer? What would we make with a little tenderness? Art that truly resonates. Innovations that heal instead of harm. Communities that hold one another instead of tearing other people down.
Soft can be a quiet form of resistance. Practice subtlety, trust, and intimacy in a world that celebrates loud braggadocio, knee-jerk reactions, and blunt force.

Don’t mind your mind, but what if you live with one that’s as cruel as it is creative? Walking on the fine line between heaven and hell, Justin’s life has always been one of contrast and paradoxes. Feeling too much yet never enough, Justin is still learning how to handle himself softly and with care. He will share about this journey, about mental health, and about his creative escapades as a writer, actor and poet, as he’s turning his pain into art.
Visit for a smile, a tear, and perhaps even a changed heart. Bring your inner child and your inner critic with you and take that extra coffee during the free breakfast, because you might need it for this (emotional) rollercoaster of an amateur human being.
Let’s snuggle up and let down our guard. Soft can be our salvation.
